Wouldn’t it be prudent for the Republicans and the Libertarians to unite when the cause is so great? I suspect the Libertarian didn’t get the 16% that the Republican would have needed, but Reps and Libers are really pretty close in ideology. And having watched Soros pump $2 million into the race to defeat Sheriff Joe, money and big guns DO have an effect.

The Libertarian party is much closer to the Democrat party and in some cases gets funding from them in tight races to play spoiler. They are very loud buffoons.
