It sounds to me that their plan is to target the church halls and have their own minister perform the ceremony. They will use the commerce clause to try to force churches to make the hall available. So for example, our parish has a room called the Martha and Mary room. I’m guessing that the lesbians would love that. A small ceremony in the room and then use the kitchen and bring out the catered food. The good news is that I have never heard of this space or the other big cafeteria downstairs used to anything not directly related to the parish. Since we’re a big active parish those spaces are busy pretty much every night and most days.

Our church bylaws now prohibit letting anyone use our church facilities for pay and requires anyone who wants to use it in any way to sign a statement saying they support the Southern Baptist Convention’s statement of belief.

Not sure that is enough, but it would make it tougher to attack us.
