The whole thing was a political charade from the start. There was no way in hell anyone would be allowed to sue a foreign government in U.S. civil court.
What I don’t understand about politicians could fill a phone book, but page 1 is this: there is so much money in Washington DC, why can’t they take it from honorable groups with American values?
Secondarily, why can’t anyone get to Washington and say “I’m not taking another dime from anyone, even if that means I lose the next election?” Then spend your two or six years doing the people’s work.
Do they all make a pact upon first entry to the Capitol building to always work against the American people as long as they make money?
And the list of questions never ends...
