I don’t think this kid should be ridiculed in school, but lets face it. Every kid is ridiculed in school.

I’m sure the kid gets more than his share. Perhaps the parents should find him a safe-space in another environment.

Kids don’t buy this B.S. Many adults don’t.

I don’t want him ridiculed because I don’t like seeing people made miserable. That is not to say I back what he is doing.

As for going to the restroom in the girl’s restroom, NO!

Women and girls have a right to privacy. They should not have to look over their shoulder to see if there is a man or a boy in the room with them.

You can make adjustments knowing only girls are around, that you can’t with a boy or man there.

This isn’t rocket science.

Thank heaven Trump was elected.

I agree. Safety is the optimum concern. Children must be protected. Surely other arrangements can be made for those confused about their gender - let them use the staff bathroom.

Hurt feelings don’t trump safety and sanity.

Why not? He's ridiculous. The supposed adults who pander to his delusions are even more ridiculous. Maybe if he quit being ridiculous, fewer people would ridicule him.

I think of all the times in my dating years where the Ladies Room was the safety zone for a gal who might be in a bad situation. What about gals who've been traumatized by rape? What about strict Muslims, Amish, strict Evangelicals, etc for whom modesty is a very big issue? What about young teenage girls who are going through sensitive and confusing body changes and don't want to share their private space with guys who dress like gals?

It's just too warped that all of these folks who supposedly care about victims of abuse and women's rights to their personal identity think it's okay for women to have to share a bathroom with confused men.
