AFGE says they hope to have an open dialogue with the agency’s new administrator
WASHINGTON – AFGE commended newly-confirmed Administrator Scott Pruitt for opening a dialogue with frontline workers on his first day at the Environmental Protection Agency.
“I am eager to see if Administrator Pruitt stands by his commitment to seek out guidance from the people who have dedicated their life’s work to protecting America’s air and water,” said AFGE National President J. David Cox Sr. “EPA workers have been made a scapegoat for many of our country’s problems, when in fact, they have only been protecting and serving the American people by keeping our water clean to drink and our air safe to breathe.”
The Trump Administration has made it clear it plans to massively scale back the work of the EPA, which would be detrimental to the environmental and economic health of communities across the country. In yesterday’s speech, Pruitt hinted that he plans to shift some of the agency’s work to state-run partners.

Freeze hiring and new “regulations” (aka “administrative unconstitutional laws”), reduce staff 20 percent per year, and finally abolish the agency. ‘nuff said.

The EPA has morphed into the most anti-American pack of government storm troopers of all of the Federal agencies.

The labor unions that will benefit from far less EPA far outnumber this herd of bureaucratic appendages.

Question 1: Why the he-double-toothpicks is there an EPA UNION? WHO IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE NEGOTIATING TABLE? All public employee unions must be destroyed.
I agree with FDR, outlaw all Government Unions.

Then keep cleaning house. I think EPA regs could be cut 75% and the entire operation by 50%.
Then completely eliminated the Dept of Education. That’s a total disaster.
Nixon, btw, created the EPA.
And Nixon also created OSHA. Too bad these happened before Watergate...
deport all epa employees to thule to study AGW up close and personal.
No space heaters allowed in the office or barracks— save the whales, polar bears, and spotted owls.
The AFGE is a money-maker for the Democratic party.
Disband the federal unions, et al!
