The second comment references a message on a 4chan forum from shortly before, which suggested that this story was about to break. They said “it had been in planning for months beforehand, and its aim was to damage President Trump under the assumption that Milo would be picked as his Press Secretary.”
I’m on Milo’s side in this; but I can’t believe that Trump ever really considered Milo for that position.

I agree. The idea that he would have been in the administration in any aspect is ridiculous. He is a British subject here on a temporary work permit.
It only damages Trump because it removes, at least temporarily, one of his staunchest advocates to the youth culture.
