Swing-voting independents are twice as likely to trust President Donald Trump’s administration than to trust the media, according to a new poll by Fox News.
The lopsided 52 percent to 26 percent trust in Trump is hidden in the crosstabs of the poll, which was released Feb. 17. Overall, by a narrow margin of 45 percent to 42 percent, Americans think Trump is more likely to tell the truth than are reporters......
.....Only 8 percent of Democratic voters trust Trump more than reporters, and only 9 percent of Republican voters trust the media reporters more than Trump.....
So the 52 percent pro-Trump to 26 percent pro-media attitudes among independent-minded swing voters push the final result into Trump’s favor — and also give him a political and electoral advantage as the left-leaning established media repeatedly slams Trump, his deputies and his popular policies,

When you consider the Gallup (or was it Pew) poll that said that 73% want the DEMS to work with Trump, well, Trump is totally in control.

The people I talk to and see it must be 5 to 1 or higher here in Fly Over Country.
This is really dire news for the media because not only have they already lost the Right and Indies, but they're rapidly losing "their base", e.g. Democrats and liberals. Another graph shows that only 25% of those under 50 trust the media a "fair" or "great" amount, vs 38% of those over 50. Demographics are not in their favor, and will not make a U-turn in the future, because future generations will grow up getting information exclusively from new media sources.
This is going along just like the primary and general elections....Trump keeps pounding his fake news points, the media tries harder to hurt him and more stories turn out to be fake. The American people are really starting to turn on the MSM in a big way.
Our local cable news channel is now in on the act...regurgitating all the fake news the MSM puts out everyday and people like us are getting madder and madder. We stopped watching MSM altogether months ago...no CNN, no MSNBC or NBC, ABC, CBS....they can al go to hell!
I’m kind of disappointed that there are still that many people that have any faith in the press. Still too many stupid Americans to contend with.

Why the mainstream media is the enemy of the American People
I’ve been watching the coverage of this on the news and most people are unaware of the impact of the US media worldwide.
I am not the first to point this out but as I’ve said everyone living and dead from Chinese President Xi at the recent Davos globalist conference to Castro, to Chavez, to Bin Laden are concerned about US policies that contribute to global warming, homophobia, and racism.
Their local reporters are not reporting this. They are getting this from CNN.
We have recently seen Obama holdovers doing their best to take down Trump. This is what libertarians have been saying for years, that if we allow the government to wiretap they might selectively leak things on political opponents.
What really happened to Flynn? He told Pence he hadn’t talked about sanctions to Russia but the transcript did indicate that he told his Russian counterpart that SANCTIONS would be looked at, which by the way is NOT illegal.
How do I know that?
Because if you were going hunting for a deer would you take your air gun or your best hunting rifle? This was the best they could do. If they could lead something more damaging, they wouldn’t have risked their careers over something so minor. The mainstream media is going wild. Flynn lied, the press cried.
This is the same press by the way that didn’t find anything wrong when Rice was National Security Advisor, went out and blatantly lied about the death of 3 US citizens and the first murdered US Ambassador in over 3 decades. Obama lied, brave Americans died. And the press sighed “Oh well…”.
