Last year he said the answer to ISIS was to create a Sunni state in Syria.

So let me get this straight ...

Trump passed over his top choice for the #1 position because he was adamant about keeping McFarland in the #2 position and his #1 choice didn't want that?

I'm kind of surprised Bolton would accept a post like this, with the five-year limit on lobbying and all that. I get a sense that this Trump rule has scared a lot of political hacks away.
