I think subtle ironic humor may be too difficult for you.
Better stick to slapstick.
Forward it to the SPLC. They love “ironic humor” on conservative websites. They’ll find it so hilarious they’ll make a special mention of it and Free Republic in future press releases.
That is why it is a good thing to add “/s” if you are going for humor otherwise, people will assume you mean what you post and you may get called out on it.
