Only .34 at the lake. More importantly, heavy rain to the east, in the watershed. As much more to come.

There’s a big dam in Iraq that has that problem. It’s due to collapse right around now. Might kill a million.

If it does, we are not taking in any refugees. Disasters in other countries doesnt mean they won the lotto to come here.
Let tye peaceful muslim nations surrounding them help their islamic brothers and sisters, instead of just shrugging and saying its allahs will.

Here’s the first part:
“Turlock Irrigation District said the spillway on Don Pedro Dam will be opened early next week if the forecasted rain from a large storm occurs.
TID spokesman Brandon McMillan said its all a matter of how much rain...”

Having often fished Don Pedro, I can tell you a 2.x million acre feet reservoir is enormous.
It’s good to see it full. Even though the little flood will reach my hometown.

I’m downstream (but not in the path)from Lake Isabella dam, which many years ago, sprung leaks. They have just kept the lake below the level of the leaks. It is an earthen dam. The Corp of Engineers have been studying a solution for years. Maybe they can get it repaired sometime in the next few decades.

The subsequent flooding from the failure of the Mosul Dam fulfills a Biblical
prophecy, or something.
