A lying press is Un-American.

General William Sherman hated and bashed the press 150 yrs. ago in the War of Northern Aggression and was quite correct in his assessment of the species and they haven’t changed one bit except to get worse.

“I hate newspapermen. They come into camp and pick up their camp rumors and print them as facts. I regard them as spies, which, in truth, they are.”
Bashing the media is as American as Apple Pie and there isn’t a bigger bunch of Aholes who deserve it except maybe Congress and the bureaucracy.
