Hating on government employees is very popular particularly among the Chest Beating crowd.
Pensions for ex-feds are in no way outrageous nor does the unions prevent firing for cause. Lying about your credentials is a good way to get fired.
About a third of gov employees vote conservative. Most do a good job.
One of the bad ones is the disgraced Lois Lerner formerly of the IRS. I hope she will be indicted. Somebody said there is a petition asking for her to lose her pension, etc, but I haven’t found it.
