Trump administration DENIES it's considering mobilizing up to 100,000 National Guard troops...

White House press secretary Sean Spicer forcefully denied on Friday that the Trump administration is considering a proposal to mobilize as many as 100,000 National Guard troops to round up illegal immigrants, including millions living nowhere near the Mexico border.

'That is 100 per cent not true. It is false. It is irresponsible to be saying this,' Spicer told reporters aboard the Marine One helicopter.

'There is no effort at all to round up, to utilize the National Guard to round up illegal immigrants.'

DACA is still operating as if it were law.

Yesterday Trump said he was going to deal with this, but with compassion, because he has a lot of Heart, when it concerns kids.

Rick Perry once accused us of not having heart.

Unless the person was just fired without our finding out who it was. Seems like the punishment should be greater than just losing a job.

"Good way to identify the leakers by departmentalizing and isolating specific knowledge to inside information."

That's probably exactly what happened here.

including millions living nowhere near the Mexico border.

Funny, in their attempt to smear President Trump, they accidentally emphasize something they have been either silent or in denial about for years.

See tagline. I added it last week when the 9th Circus overrode Trump’s E/O.

I believe Trump should have sent the N/G to US International airports to enforce his order and deny entry from those 7 dangerous nations.

Deny. But do it. Deny again. Do it again. Keep denying. Keep doing it.

Alright, looking at a copy of the draft memo now. It never suggests nationalizing the Guard. It's an extension of 287(g). Here's it is No mention of 10,000

And a good one it is. We are at war and the stakes could not be higher.

I am trying to imagine those in the lying media trying to gin up more fake news as it keeps backfiring in their faces.

Bush and Obama had no problem sending the Guard to the southern border during their tenures. But, the blatant AP puff piece just lends more support to President Trumps callout as FAKE NEWS.

Not sure it would be legal, because they would have to nationalize the troops, they would then be part of the standing army, and posse comitatus would apply.

Sec. 1385. Use of Army and Air Force as posse comitatus
Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

Obviously, exceptions are included in the law. 1) Constitution: repel invasion might apply, but I don’t think that would apply in various states and different locations for a round-up effort.

However, (2) Congress can pass a law to approve such an action. Personally, I doubt they ever would.
