It’s really surprising to me but Cruz is basically one of the best friends Trump has right now. He’s the only one who knows where the cameras are when he AGREES with Trump
If this were about nation/Trump now, good old Ted would have been out in front of the cameras defending Trump and talking down Hillary and the Left every day after mid July 2016 until the General Election.
Ted is campaigning for re-election, and has to convince enough folks last year wasn’t really him by November 2018.

Thank God he didn’t win the nomination. Can one even imagine how wet behind the ears he would be compared to Trump, while under the same degree of assault forces, had he won??

Cruz’ only goal is to defeat leftism. His goal was never to promote himself, it was to the cause. Trump is the best vehicle available right now to defeat leftism.
