Over the weekend, AISD teachers attended a union workshop on how to answer students’ questions and fears on immigration policy, including what to do if an immigration officers knock on their door. While the district acknowledged the politically and social active epicenter that is the Texas capital city, they reminded staff to be “meticulous” and “calculated” in their response to controversial events, like the targeted Immigration and Custom Enforcement operation...“A district employee may not provide a legal sanctuary for students fleeing law enforcement or stop a local or federal officer from conducting a lawful investigation or lawful arrest,” the district said in a letter to staff. “If the officers show up, greet them, be cooperative and ask them to please wait while our AISDPD is contacted…”

Uber liberal AISD is covering itself against Gov. Abbot and Trump yanking their funding. They've been sending home notes on how parents should give as little info to ICE when it comes knocking at the door.

Short and easy session. If you are here legally then you have nothing to fear if you are here illegally, then you had better to take steps to change that.

Several years ago, one of my students was whining about how nice her grandma was and it was unfair ICE could deport her. I asked her I was nice. She said yes. I asked if she had locks on her doors and why. She said yes, to keep people out. I told her it was unfair I couldn’t come in, sit on her couch, eat her snacks and watch her tv. But, but! Yeah, it’s illegal. I would be a criminal trespassing and eating her out of house and home. Whaaaaaaa!

They just don’t understand. They believe the southwest is still theirs and government freebies are their Constitutional right.

"They believe the southwest is still theirs and government freebies are their Constitutional right."

And they also believe that they are descended from Spaniards instead of Native Americans.

You’re really close to the dirty little secret about Mexican society. Mexicans judge people by the color of their complexion. Their novelas and movies are full of it.

It’s a federal offense to aid and abet an illegal alien. Arrest collaborators, fine ‘em, release ‘em. Repeat.

If done carefully, the feds might recover from the bleeding heart liberal’s wallets the cost to the nation from harboring squatters and invaders. So, for the teacher involved, 3 separate arrests for the 3 illegal aliens in the class, and 3 fines. Mileage may vary. We have the incentives available to use again, no reason to wait.

That ties in with what I was told in Venezuela when I was down there in the '80s. One of the locals I worked with said there was a hierarchy in Spanish-speaking countries. The criteria was how much Castillian was used. Ecuador was at the top of the list, Venezuela in the middle, and Mexico at the bottom (the "dirtiest") because it contained so many Indian words.
