The issue of Flynn possibly lying isn't nearly as important as the fact that his phone conversation was illegally recorded (probably by a member of the US intelligence community) and then illegally leaked to the press.
We have unelected, unaccountable people in the US government waging war on Trump's administration. I believe Trump should have kept Flynn on, simply to prove that he won't be forced to do the will of these people. He should be making a far bigger deal of the fact that leakers in the US government are trying to suborn his presidency - this is a covert civil war to thwart the will of the votes.

The leaking of the info is the concern. The idea that you have privacy on phone calls to foreign parties and governments is laughable. That was all fleshed out during the FISA expansion and issues. Congress and pushed for more power to the NSA, under the guise of safety and a terrorist behind every tree.

Trump knows it and he will find them and send them to jail..
