It passed both houses of Congress (simple majority on budget reconciliation) and went to Obama, who vetoed it in January 2016.
The main thing the bill did was to end Obamacare penalties and taxes.
It's a great idea to re-pass it since Trump will sign it, and to do so before the April deadline for filing 2016 income taxes.
I'm glad that the Freedom Caucus has proposed doing so. Gives me hope that it'll get done.

The Freedom Caucus has proposed re-passing the bill repealing the Obamacare penalty which Obama vetoed last year.
The bill repealed the penalty, the subsidies, and the taxes.
