Imagine New York Times "conservative" columnist David Brooks decked out in a Maquis beret as part of the Ivory Tower resistance movement against the evil TrumpenReich. He runs out into the street to stop traffic, including emergency vehicles, while screaming vehement rhetoric to mobilize mass opposition to the fascistic dictatorship of President Donald Trump.
Yeah it sounds hilariously absurd, but what makes it even funnier is that Brooks is dead serious. It is part of his Valentine's Day delusion in which he envisions several kinds of resistance movements that could counter Trump.

Brooks is a lot of fun to listen to. I enjoy his “analysis” on NPR on my commute home. It’s always good for a laugh.
I don’t understand, I thought Brooks would love Trump.
This guy needs to be ridiculed mercilessly. I suggest there be created a Wrinkled Panty Award in his honor. I would like to see him Alinskied until he has a nervous breakdown.

Conservative columnist David Brooks really, really wanted Hillary to win the election. Barring that, I think he supported a third term for Obama.
Instead, Conservative columnist David Brooks is stuck with the worst outcome imaginable: a Republican became president. So now he hypes resistance.
David Brooks is conservative? Ha.
He might be slightly to the right of Lindsey Graham.
when is Brooks going to be charged with sedition??
His HRT must be kicking in... roid-rage from a roid.
They’re calle the “indivisables” groups.
Just more urban terrorists.
Kristol was also posting insane stuff on Twitter today.
I guess these ‘Republicans’ were all fine with Hillary appointing 3 or 4 SCOTUS picks and determining our next 20-30 years?
Some background on Brooks:

Brooks is one of the most hypocritical of neocons, advocating open borders and multiculturalism for America while simultaneously supporting hardline ethnic nationalism in Israel.
Today in my local paper I saw a column by David Brooks, the tenor of which was Trump needed to resign or be impeached.
I don’t know what Kool Ade Brooks drinks but I find him totally delusional with his diatribe.
