LAS VEGAS-Jurors received a 2-mile overview of an armed standoff near Nevada cattleman Cliven Bundy;s ranch in April 2014. Monday was the first day of testimony in the trial for six defendants accused of wielding weapons against federal agents.
A special agent with the Bureau of Land Management who planned the cattle removal described the lead up to the armed standoff......
Defense attorneys are portraying the defendants as law-abiding citizens spurred by reports of scuffles between federal agents and Bundy family members to protest a government roundup of Bundy cattle.
If the six men are convicted, they could spend the rest of their lives in prison. Bundy and his sons are part of a total of seventeen defendants, broken up into three trials. Bundy and his sons are expected at the second trial

Bundy Ranch Facebook posted a video showing how the BLM was the aggressor. Another video apparently police body cam video shows the Bureau of Land Management people raising their weapons after the sheriff asked them to keep them down for the transfer of the cattle back to Cliven Bundy.
Supporters of the accused like Gavin Seim were present at court yesterday and Gavin posted his impressions on his Facebook page.

The authorities can be heard saying “shoot first and ask questions later”. There is also video proof that one of the authorities is questioning the tactics used against Margaret Houston who was literally thrown to the ground by one of them.
