In a sign of the scale of the terrorist threat that Europe is facing, police at Brussels Airport have detained 30 terrorist suspects in just one month. The shocking stat was released by the authorities relating to the month running up to Christmas.
Those detained by police at the airport were picked up on suspicion of having “links with terrorism or offences linked to the security of the state”.
