Most lobbyists are bipartisan. But right now Huff has much more motivation to influence the direction of the Dem Party, and which players emerge on top, than to nip at Trump’s heels.
The sole reason to nip at Trump’s heels right now is to prove your credentials to lead the left. The leftist who can say “I made Trump fire a cabinet member” gets more points. So the goal is to chalk up the points to show others on the Left.
