The former Alaska governors go-to girl for communications and Christian outreach has found a new home in Foggy Bottom.
The woman credited with smoothing over Donald Trumps relations with evangelical Christians and shaping the image of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has snagged a job at the State Department, Foreign Policy has learned. Pam Pryor, the Trump campaigns leader of faith and Christian outreach is vetting personnel and coordinating policy issues from her perch inside the Office of International Religious Freedom, according to two officials who spotted Pryor in her new digs.
The office is expected to gain a higher profile under the Trump administration as it carries out White House directives to prioritize the plight of persecuted Christians in the Middle East and more aggressively call out Muslim-majority governments for failing to protect religious minorities.
Pryor is currently a member of the State Departments beachhead team, a group of enforcers tasked with putting in place the people and policies that align with the Trump White House.
A State Department spokesperson declined to outline Pryors responsibilities, but a separate source familiar with her activities said shes been vetting candidates for the job of ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom.
Pryor burst onto the national stage during the 2008 presidential election as Palins go-to girl and confidante, [BS, She was JC Watts Chief of Staff from 1994 through 2002] and later served as the spokeswoman for Palins political action committee and her national political adviser. Palin endorsed Trump in a freewheeling speech to Iowa voters last January, a risky gamble at the time considering the real estate moguls outsider status. Pryor boasts a strong network of social conservatives and religious leaders and has been credited with helping allay concerns many Christian leaders had with Trump.

Sounds great, thanks for posting!
I would much rather have Sarah Palin herself as head of the VA, cleaning, cutting, firing, and making it run efficiently.
Or put her in charge of any other office that requires cost cutting, streamlining and throwing corrupt bureaucrats in jail.
Agreeing with your sentiment, but in my opinion her dysfunctional family has tarnished her image too much for her to be considered for any high profile position..........
Why the rock star reaction here?
A puff piece on someone I never heard of, with a temporary job so vague it has no title, as one of a team vetting the religious experienced for an international entity to assist and protect Christians, yet it is settled that
Ken Starr from the beginning has the big job in a walk, if he wants it.
He’s the heavy hitter and the man for the job.
I don’t know Ms Pryor. It’s just it seemed like her personal resume writer may have written this column.
You read through the lipstick and find there is absoluteky nothing there, regarding Pryor, of any substance.
Sarah Barracuda is sitting on way to much income as a consultant to ever want a government job again.
Have known Pam for years. She was the person who brought J.C. Watts to prominence in the 90s. She was also a behind the scenes pusher and shaker for Newt in his relations with the Christian community.
She was a big time conservative radio talk show host at KTOK long before Rush was even on the air. She was also Ollie North’s favorite substitute host when he was on vacation.
Finally, she is a true golden throat announcer. She makes scads of money as the “voice mail voice” for many major corporations around the country.
She is a quiet, very conservative behind the scenes operator, but a real long ball hitter.
(PS, Pam went to Bethany Nazarene, which I sure you know if you are from Oklahoma.)
I would like to see Jim Webb or Allen West take over the VA! Need to fire almost everyone and start from scratch - priority hiring to former vets!
If you know the girl, I’m with you!
Pam is the Real Deal!
Have a good week.
Thanks, Strac6
