For the geo-strategically ignorant around here, this is what I don't get. Some parts of the world are seriously beyond our reach except with leave of the other side. This is one of them. Maybe we should double down and move the sixth fleet in, too. Maybe a couple of our newest submarines as well. We'll show Putin.
If they are ineffective then it is a waste of everyone's time. If they start to become effective and impact a Russian vital interest, then Putin has already warned us. He will nuke them.
