Now the liberals in the counties around DC are going to see why they really voted against Donald Trump and why the bulk of the country voted against them.

Now it’s time for the den of thieves to experience at least a small fraction of the suffering the Americans saddled with paying for their absurdly inflated salaries and pensions have borne for the last 8 years.

Oh, I am not letting Obama off the hook,...Why? Because he's black--- and the small matter of 9 trillion.

The idea to relocate agencies to the areas they serve is the greatest idea I have seen. Can’t drain the swamp any quicker than moving it to red country - replace the rats that don’t want to relocate with Americans.

“In addition, proposed tax changes risk stalling the Washington areas high-priority efforts to provide more affordable housing. “
Makes no sense. Cutting Federal workforce means people leaving DC, which means more housing available, which means housing prices fall, which means more affordable.
If workers cannot be fired, they should be transferred out to rural, real, America. Either way, housing in DC will be more affordable with the lower demand.

Yeppers...that is a thoroughly stupid remark by the (uninformed or ignorant) author. The last effort by the GOP to shrink government was Reagan trying to abolish the Dept. of Education. And the GOPE fought him, too.

I agree. I hope abolishing federal worker Unions is a high priority for this Administration. Unions have no place in any government; federal, state, county, or city. The one-time need for them in the private sector is pretty much over with too. Having been in an old one I can safely say they do more harm than good.

You’ve got a point there. I was just thinking of the federal raises during the 0bama Depression.

Oh, I am not letting Obama off the hook, because he let it all go, but the mess that GW created is why GW will likely go down as one of the worst presidents in our history. And there it is. I voted for him, thought to myself how much damage a fighter pilot could do, he must be semi-skilled.... What choice did I have? And I didn't know about McCain yet to use as an example. What a disappointment those two were for our America, and what a stain on the reputation of fighter pilots. Both were disasters and their stock, like you said, is going to hit bottom over time.

Stentor, I’m missing your point. Andy Jackson said he is NOT letting Obama off the hook. What is it you’re trying to say?
