President Donald Trump signed three new executive orders Saturday to “restore public safety and protect law enforcement” while addressing rising crime rates in communities across the country.

The president’s first executive order directed newly installed Attorney General Jeff Sessions to “develop a strategy to more effectively prosecute people who engage in crimes against law enforcement officers.” The second order established a task force led by Sessions with the purpose of reducing crime rates and restoring a sense of public safety. The third order cracked down on the “dismantling” of “transnational criminal organizations” by redirecting additional federal governments resources.

The series of new orders are the most significant action the president has taken to deliver on campaign promises to support law enforcement and combat rising crime in many communities.

"These three "desperately needed" executive orders, in particular, seek to build upon Trump's previous executive orders that ordering the construction of a border wall, cracked down on sanctuary cities and ordered law enforcement officers to consistently and thoroughly carry out federal immigration laws."

“Liberal and globalist heads exploding as I type this.”

Maybe the insane asylums can be re-opened to offer them safe rooms. (crayons, teddy bears and hot chocolate will be served.)

Just a suggestion.

IMHO

How dare President Trump think that it is OK to restore the Rule of Law. Doesn’t he have any shame? Where is my stuffed animal and my hot cocoa?

It will be quite a change to have a Justice Dept that actually does its job instead of run interference for law- breakers.

“It will be quite a change to have a Justice Dept that actually does its job instead of run interference for law- breakers.”.....I read that with a smile and now await the results. The challenge will be massive!

With Trump at the helm and Sessions as AG, the Left will have many opportunities to howl about the atrocities of enforcing our laws. Can’t wait for it to be implemented in a big way.

More INS and border patrol agents, that wall is years away from being able to stop the flow of drugs, and illegals coming here.

It would help if Everify was used and scum bag employers were fined for hiring illegals.

I like the idea of self deportation and any measure that makes illegals less likely to want to be here illegally is fine with me.

“How dare President Trump think that it is OK to restore the Rule of Law. Doesn’t he have any shame?”

One would hope that he completely shames adolescent Progressives, kicking and screaming, into adulthood.

Just saying.

IMHO

Yup. Self deportation is key. The logistics of rounding up, detaining and transporting illegals is a big and expensive assignment.

Eliminate their welfare and enforce E-verify, and most will go back.

WooHoo..!

I hope it’s the original “Law and Order”, and not “Law and Order: Criminal Intent”...

CI sucked...
