For more common and newer movies, is there an alternative to Netflix?
DVDs, not streaming.

DVD’s for most every movie ever made since the 1940’s are available for as little as a buck plus shipping ($4.00) on Amazon. Even new releases can be had for not much more if you can wait a month or 2.
They also have series (I'm currently hooked on "House of Cards") and older movies.
Oh yes, they also have old music so you don't have to buy that Led Zeppelin album on the third medium.
Not interest in buying a bunch of DVDs (even as an Amazon Prime customer). I prefer the Netflix rental approach.
I suspect Netflix will be forced to drop this like a hot potato, or show it only on the "Afro-American" cable channels. Netflix has already had one customer revolt over contract changes and had to backtrack.
I said DVD’s, not streaming.
And I don’t want to buy the DVD’s.
It doesn’t look as though there is an alternative to Netflix.
