Ha—that’s new since I lived there (quite some time ago), but all the more likely to assure that the landscapers are low-cost illegals.
BTW I am a tiny-government libertarian type, but in tight suburbs like Newton, I think such rules to limit the noise pollution one can inflict on one’s neighbors is perfectly reasonable.

It never ceases to amaze me the ones who bleat loudest about ‘diversity’ do not live around any of it. I hope (a little) this encourages an innundation of illegal Somalis, Arabs, and central Americans on their quiet, peaceful lily white enclave. (Honey, what is this “MS13” I’m seeing painted everywhere these days?)
How are sanctuary cities advertised to immigrants? Such a rich source of support Newton, MA would be! How are bus trips organized? Catholic Charities and Lutheran Social Services?
All illegal and migrants from Iran etc should be placed in these sanctuary cities immediately with no Federal subsidies.
I’d like to see a city-wide stealth posting of signs in English, Spanish and Somali welcoming immigrants to the ‘immigrant friendly city of Newton, MA’. All over the city and along the roads leading into it. Hundreds of them.
This is how we fight back.
