It had been. Laura Bush had 18 people on her staff at its height. Michelle Obama had 22.

Yes. Why does she have to have causes to champion! Her response to cyber bullying was a lawsuit, which I think has been settled now. Good approach! Might make people shut up and keep their noses out of her family. I would love to see her just smile and look beautiful, as she did on the plane yesterday. And help entertain guests to the White House. Perfectly fine role.
Don’t forget both her brats were paid staffers, under aged and not legal to be.

Wow !! I never knew that .. I’m shocked that after 8 years, I never heard that info ..?? Where did you see that info.
I’m sure at times there were more; such as when they decorate the WH for Christmas. There are quite a few who come to help with that .. BUT .. the difference is THEY VOLUNTEER .. while anybody who came to help Michelle was PAID. To my knowledge, the only PAID person was the Decorator who drew up the design (according to what the First Lady wanted), and maybe a couple of the Decorator’s staff - who would have been included in the payment to the Decorator’s company.
But, when you’re talking about PERSONAL STAFF .. Laura had 3. I know one of them was her personal Secretary - doing all the scheduling - one of them was in charge of party events at the WH, and the 3rd handled all messages and email and typing up letters, etc. That’s all I ever heard about. It’s possible that during a State Dinner, a few more staff would be assembled, but they would be temporary; or possibly even people who would volunteer.
Besides .. just like now, the LEFT loves to make a game of telling lies about the Bush/Trump families. And, It’s always to make themselves look better than the Repubs.
Some people are born to be grifters, others not so much.

Google had several articles. Wasn’t just her brats, you are now paying her mom $160K per year she didn’t earn as a babysitter. WH staff and SS did all that. Just like they did with those dogs. Hmm wonder if the dogs got shipped off like slick’s cat?

Yeah, I heard about the mother being brought in to supervise the “girls” .. but shortly thereafter, Michelle took for someplace, and took her mom with her.
That’s when I knew it was a ruse.

I totally agree .. because you will never know how much private info that person(s) will give back to Michelle - and allow Michelle to leak to the Press.

I know it’s a bother to have to change out all the staff everywhere, but IT’S NECESSARY. I’d even get rid of most of the staff at the State Dept. However, I believe Tillerson is “boss” enough, that if he finds out some person is not doing their job, or they’re leaking info to the outside, he is more than competent to FIRE them.
And, in case nobody saw his talk to the staff prior to taking over the State Dept, I’m confident REX WILL BE IN CHARGE.
