Protesters initially blocked newly confirmed Education Secretary Betsy DeVos from entering a Washington, D.C., school on Friday – with one “Black Lives Matter” demonstrator even briefly standing in front of her vehicle.
DeVos later made it into Jefferson Middle School Academy in Southwest D.C. for her first visit as secretary to a public school. This was only after a teacher/parent “vigil” blocked the road by the front entrance, and a handful of Black Lives Matter protesters caused problems when DeVos tried to enter through the back entrance.
Protesters shouted “shame, shame” at the secretary as she was led back into her vehicle. One holding a Black Lives Matter sign then stood in front of the van, but was scolded by fellow protesters to “let her leave,” and he stepped aside.
White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway tweeted afterward: "Don't we want the Sec of Education to visit schools?"

It’s very revealing that not one senior democrat has asked their fascist foot soldiers around the country to stand down. All the violence, disorder and disruption is not only tolerated but encouraged by the Democrat leadership.
Wonder what type of activities are and are not statutorily allowed on DC school property.

It would seem to me that blocking access of a government official on official government business is a federal crime.

Reminds me of George Wallace blocking the school door preventing blacks from entering. Democrats go full circle only now they have convinced blacks to block the doors.

We didn't allow Democrats to block the school house doors in 1963.. I see no reason why we should allow them to stand in the schoolhouse doors in 2017

Why is Black Lives Matter involved in the matter of an Education Secretary visiting a school?
Because Black Lives Matter has received monies and pledges totaling $130 million since August of last year. That money was given by The Ford Foundation and various Soros Open Society foundations.
It is leftist street muscle.
