If the MSM got wind of that, it’d go over like a fart in church.

Why?
They deport one person and the rest of that family unit self deport, thus saving us the costs of including them.

If the media would report the truth she would not be so sympathetic. The media created the sympathetic victim story, she is a criminal. She was under deportation orders already, she had used false documents, either fake or stolen identity. She should have been deported long ago, but that wasn’t the agenda.

That is how messed up our immigration system has been. ICE not allowed to do their job. There are tons of people illegally in this country who have officially agreed to go back to their country or who are under actual court ordered deportation orders- yet they are living here free as birds.

Yes Trump’s policy is to follow the law. It is a change from previous administration/s that chose to ignore the laws.

Groups like La Raza and many like them support illegals and do this sort of protest circus when laws are actually enforced. I am actually surprised the protest wasn’t much, much larger. That leads me to believe the illegals do believe Trump will follow the law and many are afraid to show themselves at a protest. Remember all the protestors that hit the streets when Bush was President? Remember the large numbers of protestors; waving Mexican flags, and claiming this was part of Mexico? They had no fear that would lead to problems for them, but now it seems they realize Trump and we the people are serious about enforcing the laws.

Send her children to Mexico to be with her.

What is WRONG with you? They're American citizens.

In my book she committed a federal crime obama didn’t prosecute. Civil still doesn’t negate the crime.

ICE picks this Mother? Smells...

Sounds like a pretty good case given her offenses.

In 2008, Garcia de Rayos was arrested in a workplace raid, convicted of felony impersonation and served six months in ICE detention before being released later that year, according to CNN affiliate KPHO/KTVK-TV. Originally from Mexico, she was in the country illegally.

"Relevant databases indicate Ms. Garcia De Rayos has a prior felony conviction dating from March 2009 for criminal impersonation," an ICE statement said.

Activists said the woman's conviction stemmed from a false Social Security card she used for employment.

Trump's order goes far beyond that, using a sweeping definition of "criminal" and giving a single immigration officer the ability to make judgments on threats to public safety.

The order says the priority will be removing deportable immigrants who "have been convicted of any criminal offense; have been charged with any criminal offense, where such charge has not been resolved; have committed acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense; have engaged in fraud or willful misrepresentation in connection with any official matter or application before a governmental agency; have abused any program related to receipt of public benefits; are subject to a final order of removal, but who have not complied with their legal obligation to depart the United States; or in the judgment of an immigration officer, otherwise pose a risk to public safety or national security."

She committed multiple crimes beyond just entering illegally. It is illegal for her to work here. She committed ID theft. She lied on federal employment forms. And who knows if she paid her taxes, had a phony driver's license, etc.

I wonder if her children were born here or are Dreamers.

If the children are under the age of 18 and have no legal guardian, they can be deported with the parent.

Yes exactly! Amazing people like her can commit a stack of crimes and yet people feel bad about enforcing the law on them. Even some FReepers want to swallow the media narrative of the mean old government dragging off a woman who is a mother. I can’t figure it out for the life of me.
