To: Celtic Conservative

To think these critters walked the earth 30,000 years ago. That’s about 6 times the time span of the pyramids. Yet it’s only a drop in the bucket of the length of time animals have walked the earth. The first to do so I think was around 350 MILLION years ago.

“Pneumodesmus newmani is a species of millipede that lived 428 million years ago, in the Late Silurian.[1][2] It is the first myriapod, and the oldest known creature to have lived on land.[3]

It was discovered in 2004, and is known from a single specimen from Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.[2]”
