Believe me, I’m on-board. That’s my dream plan—no immigration for an extended period, then very limited numbers of highly qualified people who can create jobs (top world-class scientists, inventors, etc.) No more millions of tomato pickers as citizens or permanent residents.
Its a good start but it should be cut to 50,000 and strict criteria applied. We should only be taking the best of the best. Let Europe and Canada take the rest.

Amen to that. If we could deport at least that many to offset the new immigrants.

I think we have enough “best of the best” right here right now in the USA. :)
Time to call a hiatus to all legal immigration for two decades during which time we concentrate on exporting the Moslems and aggressively assimilating the rest while catching and deporting or chasing out the illegals. If we can do that and can totally transform the education System by eliminating all federal connection to it and do the same with Medicine, then we will be ready to accept immigrants once again.
We need a lot more than 3-4 yeas to digest what we have now.
Congressmen of both denominations mostly represent their bank accounts and the Democrat Party.

Need to also go after the landlords and investors who rent out housing to the alien invaders. They need to be charged as accessories to the invasion.
Yeh, truthfully we have 330 million and 95 million out of work. We don’t really need any more people.
