This is why I have never been registered as a Republican.

I would never register for a political party that had a local club in Manhattan.

P.S. -- Donald Trump isn't a Republican, either. He just hijacked their nomination process to get on the national ticket as an independent.

Trump was a national fundraiser for Reagan. Understandably hated the Bushes, and is something of a paleo/libertarian mix philosophically.

This is why I have never been registered as a Republican.

The only reason I am is so I can vote in the primaries. When people ask which party I am affiliated with, I say I am a conservative.

You’re right, DT is not a Republican, nor is he a politician. Two big reasons that he won the election.
