I’m coining a new term: “Qweerty” - it includes any group that has a letter in the alphabet. Adding new gender identities to the LGBQT ... etc. is unfair as all the variations are hard to keep track of and Qweerties is kind of cute.

Easy to type too. ;-)

The use of “gender” as a synonym for “sex” makes it impossible to have a rational debate about this topic. Even your (otherwise great) graphic makes that mistake.

“Sex” is biological, and is indeed binary (with a tiny proportion of exceptions — eg. people with XXY or XYY chromosomes). “Gender” is a social-psychological construct — and is indeed “fluid”. They are not the same thing, and this matters.

For instance, in the case of integrated change rooms, it’s not the “gender” of the users that matters — it’s the “sex”. A biological female “man”, can’t make another woman pregnant — but, a biological male, who “identifies as female” can rape an actual female. It’s impossible to make that distinction, if one uses “gender” as a synonym for “sex”. And, that muddling of the issues was the whole purpose of changing the language — brought to us by those who read “1984” as a how-to manual.

Thank you. Likewise, there cannot be a transsexual, only a transgender.

For the Romans, Cisalpine Gaul was the Po Valley of northern Italy, and Transalpine Gaul was roughly the area of modern France.

No wonder Julius Caesar was able to conquer Gaul so quickly...he was fighting a bunch of "trans" soldiers.

“Likewise, there cannot be a transsexual, only a transgender.”

Indeed — that’s the other side of the coin.

Conservatives often fall into the trap of denying that anyone can be “transgender”. Anyone can be “transgender”, since “gender” is just a construct (i.e. it’s all in the mind). However, as you point out, there are no real “transsexuals” — even where surgery is involved — because “sex” is biologically determined, right down to the level of chromosomes.

If you find yourself debating this with a “liberal” (I’m assuming you had no choice) — don’t make the mistake of using (insert preferred pronoun here) language. Take the language back. For instance, if the debate is about access to public washrooms, point out that no one has ever gotten pregnant, or gotten an STD, from having “gender” — but, e.g. an uncut “transgendered woman” can still rape and impregnate a woman — even a pre-op “transgendered man”.

It’s all so confusing — it’s meant to be — but, if we reclaim the language, that could change.

These people only pretend to advocate diversity. The do not include people who practice beatiality or necrophilia. How narrow minded can you get?

I’m not sure that “we” includes most people under 30. Those of us, old enough to remember the language pre-Newspeak, need to remind everyone else. The left knows — control the language, and you control the masses.

I’ll just go with one word, “Fruitloops”. I refuse the liberals attempt, again, of controlling the language.

Actually, Thomas Jefferson was a founder of University of Virginia (UVA). VCU didn’t even exist at his time. I’m ashamed to be an alumni of VCU, which includes the old Medical College of VA. I loved it when I attended, but you could see the beginnings because their art and drama depts were probably this best in VA at that time. Medicine, arts and business were their strong suit. Class of 1971.
