Any Repub who wimps out now, after the Collins/Murkowski defections, causing DeVos to not be confirmed, is going to be politically drawn & quartered.

McCain and Graham are both close friends of Joe Lieberman, who gave Devos a very strong, public endorsement. Otherwise I’d be worried too, but for this reason I think we can count on their support.

I'm a recently retired 30 year teacher and I agree. Never once in my 30 years did I ever hear a coworker or administrator praise the federal DOE; most often it was the opposite. Now they are all out defending the status quo they use to rail against.
