These asshats pontificate but, without a travel ban, the nazis could have infested our country too.
My favorite college German professor was saved from the Holocaust and came here to teach. I benefited greatly from that as he was one of the most gracious and wonderful people I’ve met. But he fled as a victim of oppression, not as a perpetrator. And the President of the University had to pull some strings and get him through some serious vetting to get him here.
That’s a far cry from opening our borders to anyone claiming “refugee” status where we know nothing about them.
