FR rules do not permit advocating for the overthrow of the Republic, and I am not aware of anyone doing so on the list. Still many do see that as the political climate worsens we may be heading in a direction that makes such a conflict all but inevitable, particularly if other avenues for resolving our differences are taken away. Such as widespread vote fraud by leftists making elections meaningless, or a small cadre of judges over-ruling all attempts to end destructive policies over the clear will of the people.

You are correct, My FRiend. If the anarchist continue, and they will. It is only a matter of time before they, either purposefully or inadvertently, choose the wrong target. A target that is prepared for them and will leave their corpses stacked like cord wood. They currently mistake our patience for weakness and will be able to resist attacking us for only so long. At the present, we are hoping desperately that law enforcement will do its Job and enforce the law. Up until now, that hope has been in vain. Our patience are not infinite. When a member of our[yours or mine collectively] family is maimed, seriously injured, or loses their life because of the actions of the anarchists, that will be a horse of a different color. I finally said something to an old high school leftists girlfriend. She was ranting about how shes feeling when the "hits" just keep coming from Trump.

I finally told her, get used to it, I had to endure it for 8 years and your not even two weeks into it. I described some of my fearful "hits" Obama did that affected me, changing DACA immigration law with a stroke of a pen while explaining to us, he can't legally do that and democrats in the Supreme Court suing Catholic nuns to do the dems bidding or else.

She wrote back and said we will never agree, kinda agree with that. Later she was asked a question by one of her leftists friends about who do we help first? it showed a graphic of a homeless veteran and next to it refugees. She answered the "refugees", in all caps.

I am feeling the hate from some family and “friends”, our priest, and of course from the anonymous activists. Time to completely separate from that nonsense for me. Have been steadily deleting posts off Facebook until I will eventually get down to zero. The latest list of tech companies who filed a legal brief against our national security has me rethinking EVERYTHING. Some of them include: Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Intel...I knew they were out to destroy our nation. Now they are doing it brazenly and openly.

I read a FB posting not long ago that said Baby Boomers should literally be killed. Their gripe is that Boomers are living too long and sucking up too much money in social security to which they feel they are entitled.

Something very similar was stated by Charles Krauthammer several years ago: Conservatives think that Leftists are either stupid or misguided, but Leftists think that Conservatives are evil. Just like the Arab-Israeli conflict, when one side thinks that the other is evil and has no right to exist, there is simply no room for negotiation, common ground or compromise. It is war, and the side that is tougher and smarter will win.

Yeah, I think that somewhere around 90% of the 400 million+ guns held by the populace is owned by non-Leftists. They’re way outnumbered, and that is before you factor in the people on each side who’ve actually been in a firefight, and who can deal with combat. Then it isn’t 9:1, it is probably more like 50:1. They should be careful what they wish for.

The Leftists believe that they are self-evidentally correct. Therefore their opinions are facts, self evident facts, indisputable facts. Therefore, everybody actually agrees with them. If you don't acquiesce to their beliefs, it must be because you are crazy, or have ulterior motives, or are evil, probably all three. Which is why they put opposition to their beliefs in pseudo medical terms: homophobia; islamophobia; Trump supporters certifiably crazy; and so on. However, being ‘sick’ does not relieve their opponents from moral reprehensibility; there is no ‘not-guilty by reason of insanity’ is their mind set. Quite the contrary.

Naturally, they cannot allow crazy, corrupt, evil people to have any say. We can't be allowed to govern. We must not be allowed to speak. Our very lives, liberties, and pursuits of happiness are at their sufferance only; and, they believe, they have suffered enough. They won't put up with us anymore.

Sadly, this point of view is not confined to the Left, but it is the Progressives who are out in the streets rioting at this time.

We were talking the other day, this is a “values” war, they just do not like or believe what we say or do. “Not my President” is a way of saying the rules of democracy, majority rule with protection for the vulnerable, just does not apply here because Trump is inconvenient.

There is no reasoning with this perspective, leftism is a religion. They will do ANYTHING to win, and it is all justified in the name of their god, environment, social justice, etc.

The risk is we get so annoyed we start shooting at them, and then we are no better than they. It is difficult to see how else this ends.
