It doesn’t sound like anyone’s life was at risk to justify the shots.
Still, it should send a signal to criminals.
It fits the progressives view of redneck gun toting vigilante. It’s bad optics. The worst I can say is the shooter used poor judgement. The Progressives will say much worse.
