I can understand some drugs as self medication but have never really understood the wretched emotional state that drives a person to heroin.

Nothing new. Heroin dealers have been “branding” their stuff since the 60s or 70s like this, they’ll put anything popular on it to entice the junkies.

Somewhere in my archives I have a booklet put out by a government agency (pre DEA) where different markings were placed on drugs to be smuggled into the US via ships. Cool looking historic marks. They are brand markings just like these. Sense of humor on these marks
