Ratings don't work that way unless you're one of the Nielsen families with a set-top box that track usage... many Nielsen families still use the manual diaries to write down what they watch.

Gee, I'm not watching ANY of the Stupid Bowl. Kommissar Roger Goodell, who praises flagburning anti-Americans for kneeling during the National Anthem, but violently opposes the Dallas Cowboys paying tribute to the fallen police officers murdered by Democrat #blackLivesMatter activists, can KMA.

I'm pretty sure the cast of Hamilton and Slutty GaGa will try to trash not only Trump, but all the Americans who voted for him.

I'm even skeptical of the Atlanta Falcons "paying tribute" to fallen soldiers in Obama's Wars- are they "honoring" them, or parading their dead bodies around in a triumphant tribute to ISIS, the Democrats' favorite Middle Eastern Organization?

How do you figure that? Home dishes don't transmit back up... they don't have the power to do that. Now, if your box is connected to the Internet it's conceivable, but Nielsen doesn't work that way (as much as we tried to get that to happen when I worked there).

For fun shut off the half time show, lets see the ratings

For fun I plan to skip all of the pregame BS, watch the first 10 minutes of the game or to the first commercial, skip halftime totally, then the last 10 minutes of play airtime.

Period.

I will watch the commercials later on YouTube, if and when they become available.

I meant to say if your receiver is connected to the internet, the statistics of what and when that receiver is tuned to is uploaded to the provider periodically.

I think it's safe to say those stats are for sale and are counted in the viewing audience.

Actually, ESPN, NBC and CBS usually put their football broadcats on 7 second delay because of the fear of a player or coach swearing live on the air.

Its harder than you think. I can record multiple things at the ssme time, they don’t know if I’m watching one ot the other...or saving for later. They don’t know if I’m alone or have 20 friends over to watch. From a statistical standpoint that data is useless.
