From January 2010 through December 2016, 686 teachers in Texas permanently lost their teaching licenses following allegations of impropriety with a student, according to data from the Texas Education Agency. The American-Statesman requested from the TEA the names of teachers who surrendered their teaching licenses or whose licenses were revoked after being investigated by the TEA for engaging in an improper relationship with a student. The newspaper then analyzed thousands of records included in government databases and media reports to determine the names of teachers who were charged and ran criminal background checks on those teachers through the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Public schools are dangerous places. Not only to the mind, but to the body as well, as sexual predators are drawn to a place with many potential victims.
I just dont think most young people today can be trusted to be teachers like in the past anymore.
There are the usual physical encounters that draw headlines and reprimands yet the more insidious, depraved material is now standard curriculum - the joys of sodomy, transgenderism, etc.

More “educators” acting “for the children”. These child-abusing idiots should have prison time in addition to being thrown out of their “profession”.
Private schools attract the same perps; in fact, because they are not monitored as closely (at least here in NJ), perps with assaults broomed under the carpet in public schools could then seek a position in a private school with little chance of discovery.
