I disagree. The difference is they do not now control enough of the total media to cover it up.
The “Progressives” had near total control of the media from about 1960 to 1994. They had large majority control from 1994 to 2016. Now they control the Establishment media, but it is not enough to stop the conservative voices from being available to most people.
That is the difference.
The progressives had near total control of the Senate and Congress from the 1929 Crash until Newt’s rise in Congress. We are witnessing history as true CHANGE is happening. Since the mid-90’s the DNC has been splintering openly, and they are losing at the State and Local election levels thus decapitating their party - now their party is protests and riots.
