There are plenty of OS available. If Microsoft makes a good one, I’ll use it. Win 10 is pretty good and I’m using it along with a couple of Win 7 machines. I never liked Macs but I like their tablets and phones.

Good luck to Microsoft. Their products have been a big net plus over the years.
