Some 99 per cent of migrants granted asylum in Germany are being allowed to stay permanently, according to an investigation by Die Welt published Thursday.
Though asylum is granted for a limited period of three years under the Geneva Convention, the newspaper found that 99 per cent of migrants who are granted protection are being allowed to stay in the country indefinitely.<
German law entitles migrants who are reasonably well-integrated to permanent residency permits after just three years, a period which extends to just five years for migrants who fail the integration requirements — provided that they are not convicted of criminal offences.
As a result, the newspaper notes that the majority of migrants granted asylum end up as permanent residents of Germany, despite Chancellor Angela Merkel’s insistence last January that most migrants granted asylum would only be able to stay for a limited period of time.

Germany signed their death warrant a long time ago when they elected Merkel..now they are stuck with her because those permanent residents will vote for Merkel every single time giving her forever power
Or if a military leader steps up and rescues the nation. That’s one way to start a new monarchy.
Over the course of our country there have been “waves” of immigrants. But they became a part of society and contributed positively. The Muslims come here and disappear. Every now and then you see a few shopping. Where do they work? How do they support themselves?
You are a religious bigot if you control your borders!
You hit on a couple of key issues: Where do they work? Many don’t; their “work” involves breeding young people as “customers” for our education industry and businesses. How do they support themselves? They don’t - we support them.
The reason they seem to “disappear” is that they were primarily trafficked here to re-populate dying areas where all the taxpaying Americans had fled. They end up in the abandoned no man’s land between black urban cores and non-black suburbs, along with imported Hispanics and other Asians (that is why they seem to be targeted by blacks robbing their businesses).
Which puts the last nail in the German and other country’s coffins. The Euro zone really does need to break up or just be a few countries. It’s massively failed experiment.
