100,000 Kept Out Of U.S. From Dangerous Countries
The Washington Post is reporting that so far 100,000 visas have been rejected in the one week since President Trump put into effect a travel ban from seven countries that have strong ties to terrorism.
The number was revealed in a lawsuit that was filed by two Yemeni brothers who arrived at Dulles International Airport last Saturday who were denied entrance into the United States and immediately put on a flight to Ethiopia.
The rest of the article goes on to demonize President Trump’s executive order on the travel ban. The recent poll shows that the 49% of Americans support the ban with only 41% disagreeing with it.

No, there were 100,000 people with currently-issued visas who have been unable to return to the country because their visas were revoked by the order.
No source shown to prove that 100,000.
The lawsuit might just have well said,
“Travel Ban Has Already Stopped Jillions From Entering Country From Terrorist Countries.”

That’s what I was going to say......why in the name of all that is good and sacred are there so many people from that area of the world (or any other) pouring into your country?
60,000 Visas Revoked Not 100,000 Says State Department Since Immigration Ban
About 200,000 foreigners arrive in the US EVERY DAY, so 60-100,000 over the length of the ban is quite small. Now, while it’s true that most of those are Mexicans and Canadians, there’s still a large number coming from other countries.
I’m sorry the innocent are caught up in this, but in reality, it’s nothing more than Dims trying to guilt trip rational people.
There were 100,000 visas that were revoked. This link is misleading because it makes it sound like 100,000 new applicants were denied access to the country.
It makes sense to stop new applicants from those countries but revoking existing visas was a mistake. That would have had 90% of the beneficial impact with none of the judicial or media backlash. Milo would be at 100% top of the news cycle right now if not for this.
This kind of stuff is common in new administrations as they find their footing so i’m hoping future EOs won’t make unforced errors like this.
