The University of California and any other university that declares itself a sanctuary from immigration laws should immediately lose all federal grant money, all Pell Grants to students; all access to any federally funded student loans, all military contracts. Further they should close down facilities like Lawrence Livermore.
If the law doesn’t apply to them, then the law shouldn’t apply to them. Let them eat their illegal aliens.

I’ve never been a California-basher here (as my state of NJ suffers from many of the same afflictions), but these stories make me wonder if it is true (as often claimed) that lib states pay much more to Washington DC than they ever get back. On the one hand I can imagine the taxes reaped from some industries, but on the other I know a lot of money is being cycled back to them to maintain Welfarian populations. The Reconquista of California is being undertaken by Mexicans benefiting from federal “freebies” (SNAP, school lunch program, fake disability SS, etc.).
