Virginia will be allowed to join a lawsuit challenging aspects of President Donald Trump's executive order on immigration, a judge ruled Friday.
Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring, a Democrat, sought to join the lawsuit and broaden its scope.

Given that this is a temporary order, it seems stupid that this lawsuit is going on. This has more to do with media and politics than with law.

Northern Virginia being swamped with northeastern liberals and illegal aliens who are outvoting the rest of Virginia is making it almost impossible for Republicans to win state-wide races.
The other thing is the VAGOP being controlled by the Cheap Labor Express Republicans insisting on amnesty-friendly candidates.

They have no standing. The EO is completely within the confines of the law and within the rights of the President. Any Judge that takes up this case is playing politics, and should be removed.

Another reason to cut down the size of the Federal Workforce in Northern Virginia. I wish Trump would experiment with the idea of moving some Federal Agencies HQs out of the DC area and to Middle America.
The western part of the state left. Maybe the southern part should give it a try. In fact, maybe Trump could say he found an old Obama EO laying around that kicked the southern part out of the state.

It was the Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Gingrich, Bush immigration policy that turned VA blue. That and Bush II’s massive
increase in security state jobs after 9-11. Turns out those highly paid military industrial complex and intelligence people vote mostly Democrat. You can really see that when you look at the wealthy NoVA districts where security state contractors live. They have shifted strongly blue since 2000.
I think this is great! But to make sure there is No Conflict of Interest regarding this lawsuit, the Plaintiff’s shall forego any and All Federal Funds until this case is over.
Hopefully, the democrats being on the wrong side of this issue will cost them the Executive Mansion in Richmond in November.
