os Angeles (AFP) - US President Donald Trump threatened Thursday to withdraw federal funds from UC Berkeley after violent overnight protests against a planned appearance by a controversial editor of conservative news website Breitbart.
Hundreds of students and other protesters chanting "shut him down" smashed windows at the University of California campus, set wooden pallets on fire and threw fireworks and rocks as police in full riot gear responded with tear gas.
The university was placed on lockdown as the sold-out appearance by Milo Yiannopoulos, a conservative firebrand, was canceled Wednesday evening.
"If U.C. Berkeley does not allow free speech and practices violence on innocent people with a different point of view - NO FEDERAL FUNDS?" Trump wrote on Twitter Thursday.

I wasn’t aware they were getting federal funds, but if they are, by all means, cut them off.
Also time to cut off colleges who won’t allow military recruiters.

Student loans (either Fed-originated or with Federal guarantees), Federal student grants, and Federal research grants are the lifeblood of most colleges today.
I think they should go to the point where they won’t give government student loans to colleges on the crap list.
These small and unrepresentative mobs are getting dangerous. I’ve heard Sarah Silverman was openingly canvassing for violent civil war.

I just my first video of these. All the anarchists were dressed head to toe in black and they covered their faces. Every single one I saw looked identical. Uniform. This was coordinated and paid for by someone.

I can’t believe they called it a violent protest. They usually decribe the riots as mostly peaceful.
Really want to screw up the left? Withdraw all federal funds from public universities that are practicing intolerance and support of sanctuary campuses and use that money to build the wall.
Then buy stock in valium.
Cut the UC system out of Lawrence Livermore Labs & Los Alamos.
