Martin Schulz, the Social Democrat who is to take on Angela Merkel in September's national election, has said that Donald Trump has not acted like an American since becoming US President.
“What Trump is doing is un-American,” Schulz told the Funke media group. “The United States stand, like few other countries, for enlightenment, democracy and the values of freedom.”
In a stinging criticism of the US President, Schulz said that Trump was “running with a wrecking ball through American values.” […]

It took a century, but the fight has completely been bred out of the Germanic people.
I hate to see such a large country fall to the Muslims without a fight.
Don’t underestimate these zealots. They rule by crisis far more effectively than Obama did. When things look most chaotic, someone is setting up to take advantage.

So now German politicians feel that they can lecture Americans on what it means to be American. Germans should remember that kicking Krauts in the face in two world wars is very indicative of what it means to be an American.
How would a German know anything about what it is to be American?
That’s like a Kenyanesian telling us what it is to be American.
Lately it seems only non-Americans who break our laws know what “real” American values actually are.

It seems odd to me, given all their biggest problem is refugees, that neither of the top two contenders wants to fix it..
They seem to have gotten the impression that Obama softened the USA up sufficiently for them to throw their weight around again, especially once the president they didn’t buy (consider how they tried buying Hillary through the Clinton Foundation) got into power.
