I have probably 12-15 pounds in my freezer.
When I see it for less than $3.50/lb, I grab a couple of extra pounds.
We buy the whole pig. After butcher costs it works out to 2 bucks a pound for all cuts.
I got a gift (free!) of 12#s of awesome custom made bacon.
It is no longer in my freezer. It just didn’t last long.
